Do you know that God didn't write the Bible to all of us, He actually wrote the entire Bible for YOU. What is the difference someone might ask. Well, when you think the Bible is written to all of us, there is a tendency for you to assume some sections of the Bible are might for some people while only certain sections applies to you, but when you know everything is written to you alone, then you can take instructions from every section.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says - The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right. It is God’s way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone[TLB].

You see, every story and every character is actually a parable for your life and the different stages you'd go through. From the day you are born till the day your time on earth is done, every experience you'd have has already been mirrored in the Bible and Jesus died to ensure that the Bible is fulfilled in your life. Therefore, make that mental switch from seeing the Bible as a general document to a personal manual. You can only make the best of YOU when you follow the instructions of your maker, and all these are stated in your Bible. God Bless YOU!

In the spirit of throwbacks, I decided to throw it all the way back to this song. At some point, this was one of the most radical songs in the Gospel music industry, it was out of the box, indeed, it was a revolution.

Jesus took Peter James and John up to the mountain one day and while they were there, Jesus was transfigured before them, then they saw Moses and Elijah appear, talking with Jesus. Peter look at the whole experience then said to Jesus, .Mathew 17:4 - Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you want, I will put up three tents here—one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah"[NCV], but if they had stayed there, it means Jesus would not have gone to the cross, which means He won't have died for you and I, and even Peter himself would never have experienced the day of Pentecost.

If Peter had somehow missed the day of Pentecost, all Peter would have had is a memory of transfiguration to live with, but with Pentecost, he had a never ending experience.

No matter how glorious your past experiences might have been, there is something even more glorious ahead of you, because it is God that promised that you and I will always go from one level of glory to another. Hence, even when you throwback to amazing experiences in the past, always remember that your best days are yet to come. God Bless You!

Names, are very important. I have a friend who's uncle is a highly respected diplomat, both home and abroad, and because of the positions his uncle has held, their surname registers in the mind of a lot of people. So, every time we go anywhere and there is a need for us to introduce ourselves, the moment he mentions his surname, the follow up question most times is "are you related to... " and he'd say "Yes - he's my uncle". Even if I share the same surname with the greatest king that has ever ruled my village, or my other friend shares the same surname with the greatest warrior his village has ever known, since it doesn't register in their mind when we mention, they just move on.
Now, there is a name that registers in the mind of everyone, everywhere. Beyond living things, even non living things can not but respond to the mention of that name.Philippians 2:10-11 says - so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus— everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father[NCV].
You see, there is something about the name of Jesus that everything thing in the universe registers and responds to. Everything knows this, do you? God Bless You!

Even if you don’t feel like it yet, even if it doesn’t seem like it around you, there is a fact you can’t change right now, and that the fact that it’s a new year already. And just like this year will continue either you choose to acknowledge it or not, I also believe it’s time for you to develop the same attitude for some areas of your life. 2015 is gone, never to return, and I think there are doors you must make a conscious effort to shut with 2015. The truth is, if you enter into 2016 mindful of every single experience that defined your 2015, then chances are high that you will only reproduce another 2015 in your life. Hebrews 11:15 says - If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return[NIV].
Thinking about what that verse says, is it not then possible that some people have been living in a particular year for some time now, say 2, 4, 6yrs or even more? I mean, even though the years keep changing on the outside, because their minds are still stuck in a particular year, they keep reproducing it over and over again. That would have been okay, if not for the fact the most people only know how to relive the unsatisfactory parts of their past.
Therefore, my message to you today is, no matter how unsatisfactory 2015 was, God has a much better plan for you this year, and no matter how amazing 2015 was for you, there is even much more where that came from. The best part is that God has written these things in His word, so that you and I can start filling our minds with them. If you can successfully fill your mind with what the Bible says is God’s plan for your life, then it would almost impossible for those plans not to come to pass. God Bless You!
