Is it true that it is at those points when you are trying to reach out to God that something inside reminds of things you have done that “might” not make God answer you? I know it’s true for me. Sometimes, what you are reminded of is a sin you have committed, and it almost feels like you should ask for forgiveness all over again. Other times, you are not reminded of something sinful, but the images of past failures floods your mind, and would seem like you’ve “messed up” too much for God to bless you again. these are the things I was talking about yesterday.
It’s hard not to feel pain when something that happened in your past becomes a barrier, limiting how much you can reach for in the future. If the standard of living in someone’s family drops significantly because of the loss of the dad/mum, then the pain of the loss is awakened whenever a need arises and they can’t pay for it. if you get turned down from a job you really wanted because your grades were not good enough, it is likely that regrets will build within you regarding that result. You might have given your  all in that relationship yet your partner broke your heart in a thousand pieces and threw it all away. Anything at all that wants to make you say “if only ... did not happen”, God’s plan is that your testimony will be 2 Corinthians 4:17 - These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won't last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God's richest blessing upon us forever and ever![TLB] Just as waste can be turned to wealth when their is a recycling plant, sorrow, baggage, regrets and pain can all be turned to joy when you place them in God’s hand. God Bless You!
