It's easier to believe you are valuable when life has been good to you, in fact, people would most probably find it easy to find you valuable. However, believing you have value after multiple setbacks or disappointments can be difficult, but, I must tell you, even after several failures, you are still valuable.
Think about it, some items are valued based on their purity e.g gold. The purer they are, the more valuable they are perceived to be. However, that's not the only form of value there is. For example, some art works are just a masterful combination of junks, yet when put together, the same useless junks now worth millions.
Last year, a painting by a Nigerian born artist was sold for $1.1 in London, another painting from another artist was sold here in Lagos for 46M naira. These paintings are not so valuable because they were painted using special paints or brushes, but because of the techniques and creativity of the painter. Likewise, even if you consider your life to be a pile of junk, in the hand of God, it is the perfect resource for a masterpiece.
Psalms 126:1 - It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion’s exiles[MSG].
Therefore, no matter who you are and what your experience has been, there so much value in you and God can't wait to show you off to the world. God Bless You!

Dear Child,
I'm writing this to you because I want you know I'm not joking when I say that I love you very dearly. In human understanding, I'd say my love for you is 100% in purity and concentration. You are the epitome of my love, and this means that each time I look at you through the lens of my dear Son Jesus, all of the love I have in me converges at one point, YOU.
When I say "Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him", you think I'm setting an impossible standard of love for you, but you forget that I'm only showing you the standard I set for myself when loving you.
So, each time you worry about anything or doubt my love, I say to myself, if you only know how much I love. You see, the fact that worries sometimes creep into your heart is not the problem, the problem is the fact that you often forget to do one thing "Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you - 1 Peter 5:7[TLB]".
I said you should let me have all your worries, but you often hold on to the small ones waiting till they become big before you hand them over. If only you will learn to let me have the small worries, maybe it will be easier for you to also cast the big ones on Me. I love you my child, and I'd like you to know that everything else will cease to exist before my love for you will fail.
With Love, from your heavenly father.

When you say to someone who has wronged you, "may the Lord judge you", what exactly do you mean? What do you expect to happen to the person that would be classified as the judgement of God on that person for the wrong they have done to you?
If your intention when you ask God to judge a situation is for something bad to happen to that person that would put him/her in a terrible position, ask yourself, would God be happy with that intention?
One of the things by teacher has taught me, is the fact that there is a difference between the way man judges and the way God judges. Man's judgement most times seeks to repay evil for evil, while God's judgment seeks to bring greatness out of evil.
What is the point if something bad happens to the person if it doesn't change the effect of the wrong that was done to you? What would Joseph have gained from the downfall of his brothers due to the wrong they did to him, if he never left the prison?
Romans 12:14 - Wish good for those who harm you; wish them well and do not curse them[NCV].
Therefore, God's judgement makes the evil intentions of people work out something for you, like the case of Joseph and his brothers, but you hinder the process when you try to pay evil for evil. Love always wins. God Bless You!

I have many unanswered questions, things I'd like to know, get clearer direction, and these questions just keeps increasing as I get older. I want to believe you understand what I'm talking about, so you must be familiar with that annoying feeling that comes with not having the answers we need. So today, I'd like to remind you about something that I think would be very helpful at such moments. John 16:13 says - When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes, he shall guide you into all truth, for he will not be presenting his own ideas, but will be passing on to you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future[TLB].
The verse above describes what Jesus referred to as the core functions of the Holy Spirit, which is to guide and to inform. To guide means to determine the direction of traveling, to show the way by leading or advising and this is what the Holy Spirit is there to do in you and I. The second part, which is to inform about the future, means even when you have to make a decision and you are not sure what the future implications of that decision would be, the Holy Spirit, who sees into the future can help you decide what's best for your future.
So you see, the Holy Spirit is a must have for everyone, and beyond having Him, you must also engage Him in the affairs of your life. Before you say you don't know if he'd answer your question, you ask Him first. The most reliable source of answers is not far, He's right within you. God Bless You!

Just before you put finishing touches to your plans for the new year, can I just remind you that many of the most successful people in the Bible are not necessarily those that “made” plans for their lives, but those that connected with a plan God has always had, and became the executor of those plans. Just so that you can get what I mean, permit me to quickly analyse things below.
Moses: the people of Israel had become more like slaves in the land of Egypt for some time, and God had specified the number of years they were going to spend in captivity long before Moses was even born. So, it just so happened that the time Moses came into maturity coincided with the number of years set by God. Moses missed it initially though, but God’s mercies I believe, brought it back. So the plan for the “Exodus” was always there, Moses just became the man to make it happen.
Solomon: God had told David he couldn’t build the temple because he had fought too many wars, which means the plan to build a befitting house for God had always been there. So when Solomon became king, he picked that up and decided to execute. Maybe because of the many enemies he had, when God gave him a blank cheque, Solomon asked God for wisdom, but I guess God was looking for who to invest in at that time, so He also gave him wealth.
Jesus: Do I need to remind you that the salvation plan wasn’t something Jesus came up with when He got into the world, but something that had been planned even before the foundation of the world. Acts 17:26 says - He created all the people of the world from one man, Adam, and scattered the nations across the face of the earth. He decided beforehand which should rise and fall, and when. He determined their boundaries[TLB].
Therefore, I hope you know it is impossible for God to be unaware of everything happening in the world at this time, hence He must also have made some plans. So, I hope somewhere in your plan, is a plan to be the executor of those things God has planned for this season. Nothing, can be greater. God Bless You!
