To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven - Ecclesiastes 3:1[KJV]. If there is a time for every purpose, then, I want to believe that there is also a purpose for every time. Therefore, what is the purpose of the current time in your life?
I'm sure that verse of the Bible is not new to you, you must have heard it a thousand and one times, but I believe it won't be a bad idea to reflect on it again today. Why has your life turned out this way? The people you have met, the things you have heard, the places you have been, all the things you have learnt, every single experience you have had - both sweet and bitter, why?
I'd like you to imagine Joseph asking himself these questions after he was sent to jail, only to find the answer after he became Prime Minister. This shows that the answers to some of the questions in your heart will only be found in the future.
This morning, I'd just like to remind you that there is a purpose behind your life and every thing you've had to deal with, and I can tell you that, that purpose is something mind blowing. All that's been happening in and around you(both good and not so good), are the building blocks of that great life God has promised you. Therefore, in everything, God's purpose cannot be moved, so if you don't know, ask. I'm sure you'd be completely blown away when you see what God has in mind concerning you. God Bless You!

I think young Christians really need to start asking themselves serious questions like; if indeed our father, God, is so powerful, then why is it that business and the corporate world is largely dominated by people who are not so "God minded"? Please, just before you say my assumption is wrong, tell me how many fortune 500 company CEOs you know that publicly professed Christianity.
I remember that the first commandment God gave to Adam was to go and multiply and then have DOMINION over the earth. So, is it that that commandment doesn't include the business world, or the validity period of the commandment has expired? I'm asking these questions because I long to see the manifestation of the sons of God, I.e I long to see people like YOU run/lead businesses in such a way that the world will know just like they did in the time of Joseph and Daniel that only the Living God could have done this.
Matthew 5:45 - In that way you will be acting as true sons of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust too[TLB]. This verse shows a character of God, which is the fact that when something enters the earth, He doesn't discriminate on who it will work for, anyone that applies the principle gets the result. So even if a Christian gets a new concept, an idea from God, an unbeliever can learn and work it, and God in His faithfulness won't stop it from working. So why don't we have so much Christians leading the corporate world? It has to be that there is a disconnection between our faith and the work of our hands, and for the few that have made the connection, we don't learn and build on their principles. Please find a balance between your faith and the work of your hands that doesn't involve God doing everything for you, but does everything through You. I think YOU can be one of the next business leaders in the world, but do you think you can? God Bless You!

Can we just get real for a moment on this Valentine’s issue. How many Valentine’s day have you celebrated? While you make the count to get an accurate number, can I equally ask you to also note number of Vals you have had, I mean the number of people you have celebrated them with. Don’t worry, I won’t ask you to give the details of how you celebrated with any of those people, but I’d just like to ask, how much value did the Val’s day celebration have on the quality of your relationship with those people in the long run?
Just so you know, I’m not about to tell you that you shouldn’t be celebrating because it’s some form of idolatry or anything like that, I just need you to open your eyes and really consider what it is your are celebrating. Looking back at those experience and combining it with what you know now, what would you have done differently that would ensure that this one would not be like any of the other ones in the past?
As you might have noticed, I came with more questions than answers today, but Mike Murdock says that “until you master how to ask yourself the right questions, you will never learn how to master life”.
1 John 4:8 says - The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love — so you can't know him if you don't love[MSG]. Maybe you should consider the love you are celebrating with the kind God has shown you through Christ, I know it can never come close, but does it even have traces of it? And if you don’t know what the love of God looks like, then I think you need to find out what it is, that way you won’t fall prey of all these fake loves behind distributed everywhere. Whatever you do today, make sure it’s pure, make sure it’s true and make sure it’s for real. God Bless You!
