Can you count the number of times you started a week with so much energy and enthusiasm but by the middle of the week, all the doubts and worries you thought you got rid of had returned? Have you ever bothered to ask yourself what happened and how it happened?
Sometimes you start a week having that feeling that something great seems to be around the corner, the Word and the prayers from service even confirms it, only for something unanticipated to sweep it all away. What if I tell you that you can decide that, no, that's not going to happen this week.
Hebrews 10:35-36 says - Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God’s will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised[TLB], and to this verse, I add the song "Maintain" from the Spirit filled soul Singer.  You see, like every verse in the song tries to explain, it's important we learn to maintain the help we get from God.
Even if it's just for the smoothly crafted vocals and melodic guitar works performed to a live audience, I'd have wanted this song on my playlist, but the fact that it helps keep in mind that the joy, peace, sanity and everything else we get from God must be maintained, makes it even more precious. I have no doubt that Of has something planned for you this week, but can you maintain your expectation throughout the week? God Bless You!
