Sometimes when you tell the truth and people don't just seem to believe you, it is not necessarily
because you have given them a reason not believe you, it is mostly because they know they can't do what you are saying. For example, when someone doesn't believe that you've been in a loving relationship for about 3 years and you've never slept with the person, it's most probably because that person knows he/she can't. When someone doesn't believe that you can be civil servant without stealing a penny, it's because the person knows he would/must take a piece of the national cake for himself  if he get there. 

One of the ways people validate wrong doing is by telling themselves that everyone else would do the same thing if they find themselves in that position, which is not always true. People tend to forget that even in Sodom and Gomorrah, there was a man named Lot, his wife and two daughters who didn't partake in the immorality, so you can't possibly say a particular place or people is completely corrupt. For example, as corrupt as NAFDAC seemed to be some years ago, there was a lady within that same system named Dora Akunyili, and the world saw shat she did when she received the authority to lead that ministry.  

Galatians 6:9 says - We can’t allow ourselves to get tired of living the right way. Certainly, each of us will receive ⌊everlasting life⌋ at the proper time, if we don't  give up[GW]. Therefore, don't let anyone's unbelief discourage you from living the right way and do not overwork yourself trying to convince anyone. It's your job to live for God and God's job to use your life to bring glory to Himself. God Bless You!
