Remember that God's plan right from the beginning was to create man after his own image and likeness - that is to look and function like Him. This means whenever you and I are not functioning as God intended, then we are actually malfunctioning. Just think about it, you might successfully move a car from one point to another with the hand brake engaged, but the fact that the car moved doesn't it mean it functioned accurately. Likewise, a man might have been moving through life, but that doesn't mean that man has been as effective as God intended.
Isaiah 2:3 says - They'll say, "Come, let's climb God's Mountain, go to the House of the God of Jacob. He'll show us the way he works so we can live the way we're made." Zion's the source of the revelation. God's Message comes from Jerusalem[MSG]. This verse says that it is when God shows you and I the way He works that we can live the way we are made. Therefore, understand that you cannot be like someone you don't know, and since you were made to be like God, then you can't be yourself if you don't know God. God Bless You!
