One of the things you'd have to constantly relearn, is the fact that the world does not revolve around you.
You will not always be the center of attraction, you will not always be the MVP, and the way you behave when these things happen would be a strong indication of your character.
There are ladies that can't hangout with other ladies who are physically more attractive than they are. They form cliques with those who are physically less attractive, so that they can always be the queen of the clique.
There are also guys that feel threatened by any other guy of the same age group who appears more successful than they are. All these are just forms of inferiority complex.
My teacher would often say, that God works based on the principle of selection. So, viewing God as a football coach, the fact that He has all the best players in the world doesn't mean He'd get the best result putting them all in the starting eleven.
I remember the great Kanu Nwankwo, a Nigeria football legend. He was famous for coming into any match as a super sub, and changing the game in favour of his team. Some of us, instead of reading the match so we know the best thing to do when we come in as the super substitute, we are busy throwing tantrums on the bench because the coach didn't allow us start the match.
1 Peter 5:6 says - If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in his good time he will lift you up[TLB]. Never doubt the fact that you are one of God's best players through Christ that strengthens you, but also remember that He made you, so He knows the best time for you to enter the game. Stay Humble! God Bless You!
