As beautiful as flowers may be, it's common knowledge that thorns are never far from them. Likewise, everywhere we have beautiful people, I think it's safe for you to just expect some "thorns" to be around somewhere. When people get offended in churches, it is not God or angels that offend, it's not even the devil or demons, it's fellows human beings. Yes, I know those persons might be acting under the influence of a spirit, so why let it affect you fellowship with God?
Truth is, it's natural to feel bad when people do or say hurtful things to you, but the essential thing is to remember that you in church because of God.
Also, the easiest thing is to notice the attitude of everyone you come in contact with, but have you considered what attitude you are also giving others. When people come in contact with you in and around church, do they go back feeling better or worse about that day. Before you complain about how you are being treated, check how you treat others. One thing I believe is that when you treat people well, it won't be difficult to find those who will do the same to you.
Titus 2:7 says - In every way be an example of doing good deeds. When you teach, do it with honesty and seriousness[NCV]. Therefore, what example are you leaving with everyone you will meet today, are you a thorn or a beautiful flower? God Bless You!
