Judging by just packaging and appearance, how easy do you think it would be to detect a counterfeit product? A blogger friend of mine put up an amazing post on her blog[ joyijehon.blogspot.com.ng ] titled “Process versus Product”. She beautifully explained, using examples everyone can relate with that what leads to the production of a counterfeit product are the alterations made to proper production process of that process. Hence, she encouraged that we all should enjoy the process it takes to become an original.
Thinking about the thoughts she shared, it occurred to me that it’s not everyone that looks happy, that is actually happy, not everyone who looks successful actually is, not everyone who looks fulfilled actually knows what it means to be fulfilled. Some people have wanted things so badly that they jumped the needed process, and they are now using packaging to look like the true product, but the real experience of that desire is missing in their lives.
Jesus said in John 14:27 - "I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid[TLB]. This verse shows that there is a peace the world gives which looks like but can never compared to the one Jesus gives, and I believe the difference lies in the process you are willing to go through to obtain that peace. Why settle for a relationship that looks like heaven on the outside but creates a feeling of hell in your heart? Why do things you hate to do just so you can look like the man you want to be. The good thing about having Jesus is the fact that He knows how to make us who we want/ought to be through the right means with all joy and peace intact. So enjoy your process with Jesus while He makes a custom made original out of you. God Bless You!
