It was Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) last night and there were loads and loads of
stunning dresses, men in dapper suits...everyone came to SLAY!!!!! Congratulations to all the winners especially Kemi "Lala" Akindoju on her Trailblazer Award, she really was stunned that she won..
Here are some of the ladies, in no particular order, whose looks could not be overlooked at the AMVCA 2016..
1. Toyin Aimakhu and Osas Ajibade: I can not for the life of me decide who tops my list of best dressed at the AMVCA. Toyin Aimakhu is every piece of gorgeous glam in her beautiful off-shoulder dress by BKGlam International.
The delectable Osas Ajibade arrived in her dress that brings Cinderella to mind. All shades of class and elegance was served by Mrs Ajibade to the red carpet in this amazing dress by Toju Foyeh

2. Mercy Aigbe Gentry: Next up is the never-do-wrong on the red carpet, Mercy Aigbe. She always dresses to please her fans and she did no less last night in this beautiful dress. The glam statement was indeed made from the lacy veil to the shiny beads all over this form-fitting floor length dress by Luminee Official and Fabric by H.O.P.E Fashion. Go Mercy!!!
3. Dakore Egbuson-Akande: Mrs AKande slayed in this metallic dress by Funke Adepoju of Phunk Afrique. This liquid gold dress is definitely a show-stopper which is a norm with Dakore. She never slacks on the red carpet and never disappoints.
4. Annie Idibia: The cape game is a difficult one to pull off but 2Baba's lady love slayed effortlessly in this gorgeous purple cape dress by Nuraniya Studios and styled by Harvella Styles. The colour, the texture, the length of the cape, the cut of the dress....everything brought screeched ELEGANCE when Annie Idibia stepped on the red carpet.
5. Funke 'Jenifa' Akindele: Who else is green with envy when they behold this beautiful gown that Jenifa rocked to the AMVCA. The the mix of green and creamy lace that was balanced perfectly so nothing looks too much is what makes this dress special for me. This lovely dress by Enthyst Fashion Klinik was just perfect for the Best Actress Award recipient, right?
6. Rita Dominic: I just love this beautiful lady in green. This lovely piece of green cinched the class and elegance that is usually associated with the delectable Co- owner of The Audrey-Silva Company. We love you, Rita!!!!!
7. Anna Ebiere: The "Golibe" mother of one stunned in this amazing dress by Tarik Ediz. She matched this look with her clutch from BCBG and face beat by Dave Sucre. I love the tail and the sneek peak of her skin just before the skirt of the lovely gown. You rocked, Anna!
8. Kate Henshaw: Ooooh lala lala!!! Great choice of outfit for the red carpet of AMVCA 2016 right here by the Auntie Katie herself. I love how she picks outfits that compliments her skin colour and keeps her looking distinguished whenever she steps out. This lovely dress is by BunmiBunmi
9. Toke Makinwa: OAP and sensational Vlogger, Toke was one of the best dressed at the AMVCA 2016. Her Sultan Al Bilal princess ball dress of sheer material with the details is to die for. She sizzled in this choice of outfit by My Q Lady.
10. Omoni Oboli: Love love this beautiful white and black ensemble that Mrs Oboli rocked to the AMVCA. This dress brought to life the glamorous, cheerful, quiet sexiness of this "naturalista" mother of three boys. Lovely dress from April By Kunbi was IT! for the red carpets last night.
The AMVCA 2016 was complete with the glitz and glam of a standard awards night. We say congratulations to all the winners and wish them the best going forward.
