Introduction?
My name is Atika Serome. I am a 21year old freelance makeup artist and soon to be Animal Scientist. My business name is "Beauty By Serome". I have always loved makeup and everything
beauty related. I loved seeing the dolled up celebrities and models and hoped one day I could perform such magic,lol.
Challenges?
I officially started my makeup artistry journey in the early part of 2015, it wasn't easy at all because there are so many good makeup artists out there.
Patience, determination and my God kept me going. Since I am a full-time student at the University of Benin, it hasn't been easy juggling both school and work. I just try my best to make good decisions and to always remind myself that my education comes first.
Motivation?
Motivation, a lot of the times, came from my family members and close friends. I'm thankful everyday for having such beautiful people in my life. As well as rendering makeup services, I also conduct training sessions to people out there that want to learn.
Advice?
My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is that you should be positive and excited about what you are doing and also, surround yourself with amazing people.
