Reading the statement above yesterday in the devotional I mentioned above seem to have rang a very loud bell in my heart that I just can’t seem to get past, I couldn’t just help but wonder, how many of really have such an understanding, before we then consider the number of people living that experience.
Many of us already know that the day we get born again is the end of our relationship with sin and the beginning of a new life with God, but how conscious are we that this new beginning really has no end? I love the part of that statement that says that being born again gives us a freshness in thought, speech and lifestyle, then it continues – a continual SURPRISE of the life of God, won’t like to have that?
This means, that even if you got born again 30yrs ago, you don’t get 30yrs old in Christ but 30yrs fresh, because you are constantly getting a fresh supply of the life of God just like you got it the day you first gave your life to Christ. I guess this must be the kind of experience Paul must have been talking about when he said in 2 Corinthians 4:16 - So we do not give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day[NCV].
Therefore, you can’t afford to remain at whatever level you are in God, there is so much more He wants to show you and do through you, if only you will STAY with Him. God Bless You!
