The Couple Who Pray Together: SeyiJohn2015
18:32
From running into each other at a friend's room, to becoming friends themselves and years later, they tied the knot. This couple's story is definitely going to encourage you to never give up no matter what you come up against.
Here are the wedding pictures of Seyi and John Umogbai with some tidbits, including
advice, about having a successful relationship.

The proposal?
Wow! He always never does what is routine. He didn't kneel down with a diamond to propose. We were so close, the synergy and understanding between us was so much that we knew what we both wanted and where we were both headed. So next thing we knew was that we did introduction. Then I realized that he gave me what was even more important than a proposal. He proposed with an introduction ceremony that said there was no going back. To me, that was the height of commitment!
The most challenging part for us was getting my folks to accept my love. We had a tribal issue because he is from Edo state and we are Yoruba. My family believes anyone who cannot speak Yoruba is Igbo. I had a real tough time convincing them.
Then my family said we had to do Nikkah because they are Muslims. We had to put our feet on ground. With prayers, fasting and persistence, they had to agree.
That "Advice" that worked?
The advice that worked for us is be firm and don't allow yourself to be pushed around but most importantly, take everything to God in prayer.
Traditional Wedding!!
If you really love your partner, never take him/her for granted. Pray together, believe in each other. Tolerate each other as much as possible. The success or failure of your relationship lies in both hands. You can choose to make it work or the opposite. Also, always remember that life is not a bed of roses.
Most Memorable Moment?
Most memorable part of our wedding was at the reception *grins* when my husband gave an unexpected entrance leaving his wife behind. Everybody was wondering what was happening. Then, he stylishly walked back to the door to take his bride in.
