Love Truly: Tolu Ajala and Adebayo Ajibade

Love is beautiful and should be celebrated. One of the reasons for this blog is to share stories of how couples went from being friends to the altar.

So today, we are super thrilled to present the pre-wedding shots and proposal story of Adebayo Ajibade and his love Tolu Ajala.

Adebayo knows his bride very well, his knowledge of this helped in planning the proposal without Tolu suspecting a thing. The camaraderie and love between them is evident in the pictures.

Did I mention that the groom, Adebayo, is the brother of Nollywood's heartthrob, Gbenro Ajibade? 

*nods slowly*

The Proposal

The proposal was great! She didn't see it coming at all! My brother, Gbenro, flew in town the night before from Nigeria. The day of the proposal we all went out to eat along with a few of my other friends. My friends left early and took my brother along. My girl loves hotels, so we randomly visit different hotels just for the fun of it, so I told her about a new one that I'd come across that I thought she'd like.

So we went there after we got done eating. When we got to the hotel we sat down on 2 sofas in the middle of the lobby, the hotel lobby was huge!!! It was at the Renaissance hotel in Austin, Texas. 

In between the sofas that we sat on, was a table with lit candles and rose petals arranged in the shape of a heart. She thought it was cute and thought the hotel was very romantic. I went to get us some champagne to drink and shortly after a waitress came with the champagne. 

She just grabbed hers off of the tray and didn't bother to see what else was on the tray. The waitress got her attention again and then she noticed the plate with chocolate covered fruits on it and the words "Will you marry me?". She was in complete awe. 

My brothers and my friends came out from their respective hiding places in the hotel where they had been hiding to take pictures and record it all. The rest is history from there....

Of course, she said YES!!!!!!!
