Myself and My Business
My name is Sharon Imuetinyan Aiyudubie, I am the CEO of Shaglitz Royale. I hail from Edo state and I am a native of Bini. I am the ninth child of a family of thirteen.

I attended Aunty Maria Primary School in Benin, University Preparatory Secondary School, Benin and University of Benin, Class of 2012.
The name Shaglitz Royale is a combination of 'Sharon' and 'Glitz'; meaning alluring beauty, glamorous, attractive, exciting quality and 'Royale' is just a touch of class.
Our vision is to dominate and eradicate problems involved in weddings. Our mission is to keep clients aware of the seasonal and periodic changes that are involved in styles in all areas of weddings.
START-UP GIST
It all started as an inbuilt vision and passion for weddings and what it comprises of. I studied engineering but I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur in the field of weddings. When I was in 200Level (2nd year) at the University, I already knew I would work towards this vision and I started drafting out modalities. After leaving school in 2012, I went to various make-up schools to acquire a sound knowledge on make-up. During my holidays in school, I would always go to my mother's Bridal Shop to know more about what is trendy and new in the bridal industry.
All acquired knowledge coupled with vision birthed Shaglitz Royale in September 2014.
Our services include;
Wedding planning- We help plan your wedding from scratch to finish and we also give you the maximum satisfaction for your money. We give the best wedding gowns, choice of materials for your traditional attire your "iro and buba, the "aso-oke", hall and decor, catering, photography, cakes etc.
We also organize bridal showers and bachelorette parties, with flawless makeover for the brides.
You can be at peace while we plan your wedding.
Wedding Accessories- We also sell and rent wedding gowns, accessories which include quality wrist watches and bracelets, hair accessories and pins, lovely earrings etc. Exotic bouquet, quality weavons and hair for brides, shoes and bags, Little bride gowns and accessories, Little groom suits and lovely bow ties etc.
Make-Up Artistry- Standard make-up studio for training and everyday makeup for clients. We also give personal, professional makeover. We sell makeup products, boxes and kits which includes Zaron, Tara, Mac, Sleek, Oriflame, Urban Decay, Mary Kay etc.
Other Services are tying of Gele (both single and double), fixing of eye extensions, ushering services, bead-making and hand-fan making.
We also dress brides for their traditional weddings with the Benin attire and give flawless and breath-taking makeover.
THE STRUGGLE AND HUSTLE
Well, it has been a beautiful experience working in this field and I cannot over emphasize God's grace. It's been a peaceful and a joyous journey.
As for the hurdles, I just sit up to work out modalities especially in areas of planning large weddings and also working with market prices especially increase in items we use.
Little challenges also arise in the area of supervision and control, but it's always successful at the end. Healthy competitions has also given us a lift in our business because we always endeavor to meet up to our clients' demands.
HOW I BALANCED WORK WITH PERSONAL LIFE AND OTHER CHALLENGES
Well, it wasn't so easy starting out Sharglitz Royale. I made it quite convenient for myself by scouting for good make-up institutions to start a makeup training and visiting my mother's bridal shop during holidays. So I was prepared to handle the challenges that work brought my way.
For personal life, time was always spent working and thank God for an understanding man by my side who always didn't complain but gives me more innovations. Although challenges arose sometimes, due to the fact that I couldn't always keep up with time, attend friends' functions and socialize.
WHAT/WHO MOTIVATED ME TO KEEP GOING IN SPITE OF CHALLENGES
My greatest motivation was my beloved mother who eulogized me and gave me most contacts to start with. My burning desire to become an entrepreneur, to staff and help in my own way to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country also keeps me going.

ADVICE TO UPCOMING ENTREPRENEURS
I will like to tell them to nurture their passions and burning desires. To always keep their minds focused on what they do, because there is a saying that 'where your heart is, that's where your money belongs'. To work on their flaws and always aim at being the best, to engage in healthy competitions, read books and have good mentors.
