How many times did Jesus do a miracle that had to do with providing money? I can only remember that one time where Peter was asked if Jesus pays tax, and Jesus then told Peter to go catch a fish, open it's mouth and he'd find money there, sufficient money to cover for their taxes. However, can we say this was the only time someone in the Bible was in dire need of money?
I'm reminded of the story of the wife of one of the sons of the prophet who came to Prophet Elisha, telling him that her husband is dead, and the creditors would be coming to take away her two sons since she couldn't pay the debt they owed.
If you ask me, I think this woman's condition can be classified as critical, so if the Prophet could, he should have just prayed down money so that this woman would settle her debt and move on with her life. But no, the prophet didn't do that. Instead, he asked what she had in her house, then released grace into her life through a business idea that would not only pay off her debt, but also open up a stream of income so she won't have to borrow again.
When we read that God blessed people in the Bible, but we hardly see instances of God dropping loads of money into their life. Deuteronomy 8:18 says - Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath[NLT].
Yes, it is true God can use your uncle, aunty or anyone else to send you an alert, but there's another kind of alert that He can send to your directly without a middle man, it's called insights, concepts and ideas.
Just imagine what could have happened if the woman didn't obey the prophet's instructions because what he said didn't seem like the money she needed. Likewise, what if those ideas flooding your thoughts are the answers to all your prayers for God's blessings? God Bless You!

There's a very important point in the story of prodigal son that must have at the back of our minds, because it gives us an understanding of how God relates with us. Remember that when the boy came to himself and decided to go back to his father, his best hope was not for his father to receive him back as a son, but as servant.
However, his father saw him from afar and ran towards him. At that moment, his father didn't even know if he was sorry or repentant, but he must have seen that his son wasn't looking so good, so He ran.
What have you done that makes you think God doesn't want to see you? What makes you think He has written you off? Have you wasted half of all God owns, which is not even possible because you can't quantify all God owns. Even if we assume that you waste half of God's wealth, He says even that would not make Him look the other way when He sees you trying to reach Him.
Romans 8:38 says - And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love[NLT].
God doesn't, won't and can't hate you! Each time you turn to Him, He runs towards you. Even if it seems like you have lost a lot in life due to your own mistakes, God is ready to mend everything that has been wrecked in your life. Bring every broken piece in any area of your life to Jesus, He's waiting to make a masterpiece out of your mess. God Bless You!

Just because you graduated from the University with an excellent grade, do you think that makes you know more than your parents? Be careful when what you know brings you to the point of breaking some laws, either natural or spiritual, because in many cases, it is only an indication that your knowledge has got a virus.
Think about it, why did Jesus have to respect the Pharisees and teachers of the law? Considering the fact that Jesus is the Son of God, so even on the basis of knowledge, there was no way any of those guys could have known even a tiny fraction of what Jesus knows. Then on the basis of power, they definitely couldn't match Jesus by any standard, coupled to these is that fact that those guys were wrong in many of their ideologies. Yet, it was never recorded that Jesus despised or disrespected any of them.
I had to raise this thought with you today, because I think a lot of us now find it hard submitting to those place above us because we have a different opinion, or that we know better. Listen, if you are not the leader right now, it's because God doesn't want you there, because even if they rigged the election/selection and it's against God's will, then it won't stand.
Romans 13:1 - All of you must yield to the government rulers. No one rules unless God has given him the power to rule, and no one rules now without that power from God[NCV]. Therefore, it's very okay to disagree with people, especially those placed above you, but do it without despising or disrespecting them. That, is the true sign of maturity and godly knowledge. God Bless You!

Errr... the fruit of Christianity is not just about the attitude you show to people on the outside, it is
