Anchor Song: Casting Crowns

If there is one thing I'd like to plead with you to do today, and every other worship time that you have, it will be to practice to the best of your abilities, what this song says. It's really simple, it says "casting crowns, lifting hands, bowing down - is all we've come to do".
One of the things every soldier knows, is the fact that every battle fought, is fought on behalf of the king/president. Hence, the victory of every battle also belongs to the king. I believe that is one of the major reasons why the President of every country is also referred to as the "commander in chief of the armed forces".
Likewise, every opportunity to worship God is another opportunity to pledge our allegiance to Him as our very own commander in chief, where as His soldier, we cast the crowns of every victory we have because we know we couldn't have done it without Him. 2 Timothy 2:3 says - Share in the troubles we have like a good soldier of Christ Jesus[NCV].
According to my teacher, it is important to cast every crown because doing that protects the crown. Casting our victories before God means acknowledging God is the owner, which means anyone who wants to either steal or damage it would have to first collect it from God. Also, it's hard for pride to settle in the heart of that person the regularly casts crowns before God, because when you look at yourself, all you'd see is what Jesus has done. God Bless You!

Most people think having God in their lives will automatically scare problems aware, so when a challenge comes around, the first question on their mind is, where is God?
To answer that question, I'd like to remind you of a few scenes from a fairly popular Hollywood movie "London has fallen". In this movie, the Prime Minister of England died unexpectedly and several world leaders had to make an impromptu trip to London for the funeral. As soon as the church service was over and dignitaries were filing out, some terrorists struck and the whole of
London was thrown into chaos.
While the American president was on the run with his secret agent, they needed to tell the American special forces where to pick them up. While they couldn't trust the phone lines, the secret agent knew that every time the American president stands in open air, a drone would be directly above him. So to send the message, all he did was stand beside the president in open air, and made signs with his hand that only the Americans would understand and he knew they'd get the message.
In 2 Kings 6, the king of Syria sent a large army by night to go capture prophet Elisha, by the time they woke up the prophet's city was surrounded. While the prophet's servant started to panic, the prophet told him to calm down, because "those who are for us are more than those who are for them", then He asked God to open his eyes to see the chariots of fire surrounding them.
Deuteronomy 31:6 - So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you"[NLT].
Therefore, God is always there with and for you, even when nothing on the outside looks like it, like Prophet Elisha, be rest assured that He's there, waiting on your word. God Bless You!

Either we like it or not, the truth is that the Bible remains a beautiful story book until you and I begin to manifest some of the supernatural life documented therein.
Just think about this, that when Jesus began His ministry, there was no manifestation of power, He only went around telling people that "hey, I was born of a virgin, so believe I'm a child of God", would that have been enough? What about John the Baptist, what if he also went around telling people he was born by a certified barren woman without any manifestation of the supernatural, would that have been sufficient?
You see, we can clearly see from the Bible that God likes to customize miracles, so even if He has done something spectacular for someone close to you before, He also want to do for you so that you can have your experiential miracle to share. Abraham experienced the supernatural, Isaac also had his own. Jacob's experience was different from his father's and grandfather's, and Joseph's was also completely different.
Habakkuk 1:5 says - The Lord replied: “Look, and be amazed! You will be astounded at what I am about to do! For I am going to do something in your own lifetime that you will have to see to believe[TLB]. Hence, what makes you think God wants you to be a spectator when He's made plans to do mind blowing things in your lifetime.

If you cannot fly, run; if you can't run, walk; if you can't walk, crawl; whatever you do, don't stand still, keep moving - Dr. Tony Rapu.
My heart is filled with joy as "DailyPills" clocks 2yrs today, and I'm exceedingly grateful to God because it has been two years of learning and growing. Over and over I've been ask, "so how do you do it"? Answer: "it's God, not me".
Starting this musical devotional wasn't so hard, but after a while, I started missing some days because I didn't know what to say, I'd just conclude God had nothing to say that day. But while listening to Pst. Poju Oyemade, he advised that it's important to get a promise from God, a verse from the Bible showing God's commitment to anything you are doing, and you get this by first praying, asking God to show you, then read your Bible. Well, I asked God for a promise for DailyPills, and one day, while reading my Bible, I stumbled on a verse that describes DailyPills, and according to the verse, it will happen daily. From that day, even when I'm blank and don't feel I have anything to say, when I look into that verse, I know it's either God lied or I don't believe, and in no time, God delivers another Pill. Guess what, you can also get that promise, irrespective of your field or profession.
One of my favorite verses this year has to be Acts 17:27 - His purpose in all of this is that they should seek after God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us[TLB]. I'm sure DailyPills has not reached it's full potential yet, but with every post, we are "feeling our way towards God". I hope you know you don't have to do what God desires perfectly, you just need to start, your perfection is a continuous process. Hence, as we celebrate 2yrs of God's faithfulness, I share a song that reflects how we feel at #DailyPills today. Happy Birthday DailyPills, God Bless You!

Ideally, do you know the people from other religions should be attracted to the way you live as a Christian. Actually, you should be the go to guy when they need a real friend, good advice, a trustworthy companion, reliable confidant. If you are the kind of Christian that makes other people uncomfortable around them, your holiness is such that other people feel condemned when they are around, please I'd like to ask, where did you get that from?
In school, I remember it used to seem like every serious Christian must be antisocial, they are only free around you if you look like them. But Jesus said in Matthew 11:19 - The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and people say, ‘Look at him! He’s a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ “Yet, wisdom is proved right by its actions"[GW]. This verse shows a different side of the life of Jesus that many of us rarely take note of, which is the fact that He was also social, free with people enough to be called a friend of sinners, yet that didn't take away the fact that He is the Son of God.
Therefore, understand that your school or office is not a church, so don't expect your colleagues to follow godly principles. You be the child of God, then love people they way they are, by the time they encounter the God kind of love that comes from you, they would desire what you have. Love knows no race, language, tribe, or religion. People don't have to be born again for you to love them, even Jesus, didn't give such a condition, just love everyone for God's sake. God Bless You!
