Growing up, we had these "special" plates and cups in my house, items that were hidden in a special part of my Mom's cupboard that none of us would dare go to except there's a special celebration or something like that. Now, I still see some of those same items when cleaning the house and guess what, there's nobody interested in using any of those plates for a regular meal because those plates and cups are so out of fashion.
Likewise, I believe there are elements of our salvation that would only be useful here on earth and by the time we get to heaven, you won't have need of them anymore. So if I may just ask you, what difference is being born again making in your life? Are you satisfied with just being born again and living a normal life or do you desire a supernatural experience with it.
1 John 3:2 - My loved ones, we have been adopted into God’s family; and we are officially His children now. The full picture of our destiny is not yet clear, but we know this much: when Jesus appears, we will be like Him because we will see Him just as He is[VOICE].
My thought is, if it is certain that we would be like Him when we finally meet Him face to face, then what stops you and I now from being just like Him while He was physically here on earth? You see, when I get to heaven, I don't want to be like those plates in my house that have never been used because we kept reserving them for a special occasion till their season passed and now they are too old to fit into any occasion.
Remember, there is a time and a season for everything, so what are you supposed to do in this time with the relationship you have with God? I want to get to heaven and know that I do not just look like Jesus, but I also lived like Him. God Bless You!

One of the most important traits produced when we give our lives to Christ is Love, compassion, both for those we know and those we do not know.
Take Abraham for example, right after the angels came to announce to him that his more than 20yrs prayer request for a child would be answered in about 1yr, Abraham quickly swept aside the joy he must have been feeling at that moment to intercede for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, a nation that is not related to him in any way.
Also, Moses was another man that expressed a similar kind of love. Even when the children of Israel repeatedly got God angry and God offered to destroy those people, Moses kept pleading, he basically sacrificed his entering the promised land because of his compassion for the people.
Then, in Romans 9:3, Paul said - for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed—cut off from Christ!—if that would save them[NLT], can you just imagine the depth of that love? In this age, John Knox, the great evangelist was famous for saying in prayer "Give me Scotland or I die". Now, how can you say you carry the same spirit these men carried but don't love like they did. Please, no one is asking you to die, but can you say, that I won't rest until Christ is seen in the hospitals, roads, economy and every other social infrastructure of our dear nation? As Nigeria celebrates her independence today, I urge you to remain committed, until Christ be formed in her. God Bless You!

Honestly, I really want to pray and study God's word more, but my biggest challenge is just time. I don't know if you've ever felt like that, but for me that is a constant struggle. There were days I told myself I'd pray for a certain period of time, or study a particular portion of the Bible, but by the end of that day, I look back and I'd have done very little or nothing.
Over a period of time, not having enough time was always an acceptable excuse till I did some checking. While I didn't have enough time to study or commune with God as much as I'd have loved to, on those same days, I somehow found a way to keep up with all/most of my social media app. I saw most of my friends pictures on Instagram, saw majority of what happened on Facebook, I went through my BBM feeds, and the only reason I won't mention Twitter and Snapchat is simply because I don't use them quite often. Now, judging by my actions, "who" would you say I love more?
Luke 12:34 says - Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be[NLT]. Even with your normal friends, finding time to spend with someone shows they are important to you, so if you say God is the most important person in your life, can you prove it by the way you spend your time? Therefore, I'd only accept not having enough time as an excuse for not spending time with God, if I also didn't have the time for social media, movies, series and the likes that keeps me busy. I hope, that you'd also let the way you spend your time show God is as important as you say He is to you. God Bless You!
