Whenever you are wronged by an individual and you are advised to "leave it for God", do you really know what that means? Most times, people make "leave it for God" sound like let yourself get cheated for nothing or just act the fool and move on, but id like you to know that one of the best things you can do in any matter to leave it for God.
When Abraham wanted to settle the contentions between his servants and Lot's servant, he asked Lot to select the land he wanted and Lot chose the best part and Abraham decided to do what, "leave it for God". Abraham could have contended with Lot and He would seem right and logical, but he didn't and you know how the story ended.
Also, after David had killed Goliath and saved his people from becoming slaves to the Philistines, Saul, who was the King got jealous of David and wanted him dead. Even when David had the chance to kill Saul, David decided the best thing to do was "leave the matter for God". Now consider Joseph, first it was his brothers, then it was Potiphar's wife, but through it all, he always knew he had to "leave it for God" and as he did, we all can see God didn't disappoint.
Romans 12:19 - Again, my loved ones, do not seek revenge; instead, allow God’s wrath to make sure justice is served. Turn it over to Him. For the Scriptures say, “Revenge is Mine. I will settle all scores”[VOICE].
You see, whenever you decide to "leave it for God", God makes sure you get paid. Now look at the life of those examples and ask yourself, would it have been possible for them to reward themselves the way God rewarded them? God is a just God, He serves justice all the time. When you hand matters over to Him, He executes Justice, and when you repay the person yourself, God's justice also means He can't get involved again else it would double jeopardy. Now, are you ready to "leave it for God"? God Bless You!
