From movies like "Pirates Of The Caribbean" or any other movie that depicts life on the sea, you can have an idea of what it means to go through a storm. Just imagine what it would be like standing on those huge waves you see at the beach, that's what it must have felt like when we are told the disciples of Jesus went through a storm.

I like to imagine Bible stories when I read them, I believe this helps to appreciate and understand the stories better. So when we are told that Jesus walked on water to join His disciples who's boat was stuck in a storm, understand that Jesus must have been walking on troubled waters. This also means that when Peter went to join Jesus walking on water, Peter was also walking on troubled waters because it wasn't until they got back into the boat that Jesus spoke to the storm to cease.

This story is very instructive because it doesn't just show that you and I can do the impossible, it also shows that we can do the impossible even in an unfavourable and difficult environment. Isaiah 43:2 says - When you face stormy seas I will be there with you with endurance and calm; you will not be engulfed in raging rivers. If it seems like you’re walking through fire with flames licking at your limbs, keep going; you won’t be burned[VOICE].

Therefore, let not your hearts be troubled when you hear tales of troubles and hard times, Jesus walked on water, and allowed Peter too to show you and I that we can walk on any and every trouble that comes our way, and do the impossible as we go along. God Bless You!
