Is it possible for anyone to successfully cheat or deceive God? I believe almost everyone would say "no", so why would someone, who thinks God wouldn't answer him/her because of sin, go to someone else to pray for them, expecting God to answer, is that not a form of deceit?
Think about it this way, Mr A doesn't want to ask Mr B for money because they are not on good terms, so he goes to Mr C, who is a close friend of Mr B, asking Mr C to get some money from Mr B for him. If you were Mr B, won't you feel deceived when you eventually find out about this?
Some people think God would not seriously consider their prayer because of something they have done in the past. Maybe your past is even a recent past like yesterday, but I want you to know that God takes every genuine prayer seriously, no matter who you are or what you have done.
Jesus was crucified between two thieves. While one of them mocked Jesus, the other simply begged Jesus to remember him in His kingdom. Despite all the suffering Jesus Himself had gone through, He still paid attention to this sinner's prayer and replied; Luke 23:43 - Jesus said to him, “I can guarantee this truth: Today you will be with me in paradise"[ESV].
You can't deceive God so there's no point trying, but His mercy and compassion endures forever. If Jesus could attend to the request of a sinner already condemned to death, why would He ignore you. Therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, obtain mercy, find grace to help in your time of need. Be real with God, so He can be real in you. God Bless You!
