DailyPills: Wish You Well by Thousand Foot Krutch

Anchor Song: Wish You Well
Artist: Thousand Foot Krutch
How does it feel when everyone else around you is moving forward but not you? When God appears to be blessing all your friends but it seems the angel that is making the delivery forgot or misplaced your own package. The most annoying thing about this kind of situation is the fact that when everyone else is moving forward and you are not moving, after a while it begins to seem as if you are moving backwards[relative motion]. If you have ever been in this kind of situation, as much as you love those people around you, you will find that something within you would start wishing that there is a pause on the progress of those people so that you can catch up with them. You might not even know when this thought entered your heart, but you will just realize it’s there. If you are in or ever find yourself in a situation such as this, don’t fall for the trap.
You see, you cannot attract success to yourself when you wish/project failure towards others. Proverbs 23:7 says - For as the thoughts of his heart are, so is he: Take food and drink, he says to you; but his heart is not with you[BBE]. Your life moves in the direction of your dominant thoughts towards the people around you. You must understand that God does not have a shortage of blessing such that He now has to rotate who to bless per time, He can bless everyone at the same time. Dr. Bill Winston would always say that the shortage mentality is a manifestation of the curse God has redeemed us from. Therefore, learn to wish every one well, either they are good to you or not, even if they are doing way better than you, so that they day God shows up to give you speed like He did for Joseph, there will be no animosity in your heart to disqualify you. God Bless You!
