Wait a minute, I think there is slight mix up somewhere, this can not be what He was trying to tell us.
I’ve been observing the attitude of many of my fellow young Christian peeps on this issue of sin, and it seems like their perception of grace is that Jesus came to die, so that they can have the licence to get away with sin. 

Calm down, I hope I didn’t just turn you off by my use of the word “sin”? You should know by now that I’m not one of those that encourage any form of sin consciousness. However, I can’t afford to see something I perceive to be wrong and just keep quiet about it. 

What many of us do not realize is the fact that what Jesus came to give us via grace, is way better than a licence to sin. Think about it, if all you have is the licence to get away with sin, then it means you can control the ability to sin, and since you can’t control it, that simply makes you a slave. But you see, it is actually this area of slavery to sin that Jesus came to deal with. Jesus came, so that you and I can have the power to choose not to sin, even when we are being tempted, the power to live above sin. 

Romans 8:3-4 says - We aren't saved from sin's grasp by knowing the commandments of God because we can't and don't keep them, but God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human body like ours-except that ours are sinful-and destroyed sin's control over us by giving himself as a sacrifice for our sins. So now we can obey God's laws if we follow after the Holy Spirit and no longer obey the old evil nature within us [TLB]. 

So you see, Jesus has destroyed the hold of sin over you, because of what He has done, you can actually afford to say “NO”, and walk away. Don’t sell yourself back into slavery, embrace Jesus TODAY!
