 I stumbled upon the most amazing, inspiring story about Turia Pitt today and I just had to share it on here.
Turia Pitt is an Australian mining engineer, burns survivor, motivational speaker, Interplast ambassador and author. But the amazing thing is how been burnt while competing in an ultra-marathon through Western Australia's region in 2011 caused her to shine brighter than one would expect.

After suffering burns to 65% of her body, loosing four fingers on her left hand and her right thumb, she rose from her pain and hurts and obvious devastation to build a new life after loosing her most of her old dreams to this fire.
The most amazing news of all is how her fiancee Michael Hoskins stayed with her through it all.

It just brings to mind how even though we lose more than we ever think we can survive, if we set our minds on the goal, we can do anything. She survived burns, she survived the pains and countless surgeries, she survived four years of mockery, pain, loss. She rose to become a real life heroine, a motivational speaker, a humanitarian and role model.

Rather than allow her burns define her, she turned what most would consider the worst experience ever into her turning point.
So dearies, do not give up! Keep going because in spite of all, you have not survived a fire accident.
