Have you ever seen labels from two different designers on the same dress? Yes, I have. I know some people don't even know what I'm talking about, but if you attended public primary and secondary schools like I did, then you must have seen a Tommy Hilfiger label and a Nike label sitting on the same dress.
You see, back then, when your uniform gets burnt by an iron or a nail in class makes a hole in your uniform, one of the quickest solutions is to cut off the labels from one of your shirts and use that label to cover that bad spot on the dress. Hence, you will find people who had up to 3 or 4 different labels on their shirt because it's possible that their parents can't afford to change that uniform just yet.
You see, whenever you make a mistake and come to God forgiveness, I need you to understand that God doesn't just patch your sins with the blood of Jesus, i.e God doesn't just cover your sins with the blood of Jesus. The issue with patching is the fact that every time that patch/cover is seen, there is a reminder of what happened the necessitated the patching.
The problem with most of us is that when we fall short and ask for forgiveness, we let guilty conscience keep us out God's love, thinking God still remembers how we disappointed Him. But Hebrews 8:12 says - I will be merciful when they fail, and I will erase their sins and wicked acts out of My memory as though they had never existed[VOICE].
The blood of Jesus blots out sin whenever you ask God for forgiveness, and when you come before God, He doesn't even remember you ever sinned because there is no patch of sin on you, not even a trace. Even when you feel dirty, the most effective "soap" is in the presence of God, so always run to Him. God Bless You!

Today, I'd like to share with you a very good way to discover some of the best new songs/artist. You see, even for a music junkie like myself, it's almost impossible to pick out the best songs released within a period of time, you'd definitely miss out on some. So, one method I've used over the years to rediscover some of the songs I might have missed is this; award ceremonies.
If you always want to have some of the best songs in your playlist, then take advantage of the nomination list of reputable award ceremonies. For example, The Dove Awards, the biggest award ceremony for Gospel music I know, released the list of nominees for this year's award recently, and I made some discoveries going through it. Going through the "best worship song of the year" category, I discovered only 2 of the 5 songs listed had been under my radar, meaning I just added 3 amazing worship songs to my favorites, and I'm sharing one of my additions with you today.
You split the sea, so I could walk right through it; My fears were drowned in perfect love; You rescued me, and I could stand and sing; I am a child of God... These words are just a few of the powerful declarations embedded into this power packed song. Romans 8:29 says - God knew them before he made the world, and he chose them to be like his Son so that Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters[NCV]. I hope you do know, that the purpose of the death of Jesus is not perfectly fulfilled until you are free from every form of limitation. God Bless You!
