Just in case you do not know, the law of demand and supply actually works in heaven. Maybe you even know this but you've not been so conscious of it, I think you should. Even if you save money in your bank account, you can't just walk into a bank and expect to get out money without filling out a cheque or withdrawal slip. Likewise, you can't make a withdrawal on the abundant supply you have from heaven if you are not placing any demand on it.
Remember Matthew 7:7 - “Ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you[NCV]. The best part of this economics of heaven is the fact that the supply that is available exceedingly surpasses any demand that can be placed on it, and you know what happens when supply outweighs demand, price drops. In this case, the person who provides everything didn't just crash the price, He paid it all, and if you will only receive Him, you get everything else. Therefore, if you haven't received Him, then you are missing out on a lot, and if you have, stop dulling, start placing a demand on what He has provided. Today, is a good day to start. God Bless You!

One of the errors we make is the fact that we think everything happens automatically as soon as we get saved. While it is true that God immediately gives you a new life as soon as you give your life to Christ, some other things would require some level of commitment on your part. Matthew 5:14 is a very popular scripture, but reading this version of it opened it up to me in a whole different light, Matthew 5:14 - "You are light for the world. A city cannot be hidden when it is located on a hill[God’s Word].
I believe the first part of this verse, “You are the light of the world” is the fact about every child of God, as soon as we gave our life to Christ, God gave us the ability to become the light of the world. However, the second part says “A city can not be hidden WHEN it is located on a hill”, so the question is, what happens when it is not located on a hill? Also, unlike in the first part of the verse, the use of “when” suggests that the statement is conditional.
Therefore, just in case you haven’t realized this, let me remind you that God has made you the light of the world, but are you standing on the hill? No matter how bright a light source is, if it is not properly positioned, it can not be effective in illuminating it’s environment. So, evaluate yourself, if you are not standing where you should, God is waiting on you to make the right adjustment. God Bless You!
