I can't just sit and do nothing all in the name of waiting for the next big thing or waiting for the next

Looking into the Bible, we find Joseph as an example of a brother who had to wait. I want to believe that all through his journey of slavery, he never lost sight of the dream in his heart, but he also didn't know how soon it will happen. However, we know from his attitude that he kept sharpening his skills and leadership capabilities, if not, no one would have given him those leadership roles he got. A person can get so frustrated to the point where he stops given his best to anything, but that wasn't Joseph. Like yesterday's teacher said in class, "increased responsibility is a sign of favor", so Joseph must have understood that, every time someone gave him more responsibilities to handle, it must be God showing him favor, sharpening his skills for what was yet to come.
Habakkuk 2:3 says - It is not yet time for the message to come true, but that time is coming soon; the message will come true. It may seem like a long time, but be patient and wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not be delayed[NCV]. Therefore, I don't know what you are waiting to see happen, but let your preparation be the proof that you are waiting for something. God doesn't just bless His children, He also equips us for the blessing. So don't wait idly, get busy with something while you wait. God Bless You!
